- Jenna Wilson, Chair, State Committeewoman
Jenna started her political involvement in college when she discovered what she believes to be the key to the ails of our political system: honest candidates with integrity and rationality. Since then she has sought out, been employed, and run various progressive campaigns, including gubernatorial, state senate, state representative, and city-wide seats.
Jenna was born in the Midwest but came to Massachusetts after a long love of the state from an internship she had in college. She now works with legislation and policy research in the House of Representatives. She has a wide range of interests and skills, ranging from over 10 years of web and graphic design experience to writing, fishing, law, campaigning, and more.
While a lot of people see a division between campaigning and governing, Jenna thinks that there is a seamless link that can be achieved, and that’s what she is committed to pursuing. Getting good politicians requires getting good people to run, and getting a good electorate. She has a strong vision of having citizens of all walks of life involved in politics and educated about policies that might affect them, and for creating a fair economy that provides opportunities for people of all classes and backgrounds.
